How Hygge Fire Came To Life…Our Story!

Born out of Covid in a time that was figuratively and literally dark in the world, we often turned to small warm and cozy convivial moments to enjoy at home. After many nights around our kitchen island dreaming of being able to roast marshmallows or have a cozy bonfire during the winter months as city dwellers, Hygge Fire was born. We’ve created the perfect solution for creating those cozy, warm vibes no matter what your surroundings are. Whether you are in a city apartment or in the vast outdoors, we set out to create something that would make the “hygge” atmosphere attainable for everyone.

How We Started

Creating Hygge Fire was truly a labor of love for us - it is an extension of our home. Hygge Fire brought light into our home during a dark time and we wanted to share this light from our home to yours! We strive to bring people together and this festive holiday season, we wanted to share this light with everyone.

Hygge Fire soft-launched on Diwali of 2022, the auspicious Festival of Lights to pay homage to our South Asian background. We shared Hygge Fire with a small group of friends and now, we want to share it with all of you!

Who We Are

We are a husband-wife team based in Boston with a passion for travel and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. The meaning behind Hygge Fire is very personal for us as it represents a light that continues to burn and glow even in dark times.

We will be donating a portion of the proceeds from Hygge Fire to Cancer research in honor of Yash’s mom (who’s handwriting you see below, as well as on every package).

We hope you love and embrace it as much as we do and we hope you share it with your loved ones to bring a little light into their home as well!
